Abstract
This article was written to give psychotherapists an opportunity to think more about patient-therapist interaction and encourage them to write about their cases more openly by explaining how to write up the psychoanalytic process of patient-therapist interaction. First, the author described the reasons why therapists need to write and open up the psychoanalytic cases. Second, the author described the reasons why therapists are hesitant to open up their cases. Then, the author explained how therapists write up actual analytic case reports and showed four of his own analytic process writings. Possible differences in the psychoanalytic process between Eastern and Western cultures was briefly mentioned.
